Muslims Against Terror Condemns Ohio Campus Attack And Suicide Bombings In Iraq By Takfiri Daesh Terrorists

We the Muslims Against Terror strongly condemn the stabbing and car-weapon attack at Ohio State University on Monday which injured 11 people and led to the death of the assailant.

Monday 28th November 2016, the attack in America took place when a Somali-American student identified as Abdul Razak Ali Artan, drove his car into a crowd of people and them stabbed others with a knife. Artan was shot immediately after he embarked on the attack by a university police officer who had responded to a report of a gas leak in the area.

We the Muslims Against Terror’s Muslim brothers in American and around the world were saddened and heartbroken by the attack on innocent people on the campus of the Ohio State University in Columbus by a man who claims to be a Muslim.

We must not let the act of one individual, no matter what his motive or background, to further divide our community or our nation or to bring discontent and desperation to the larger community.

“Islam is a religion of peace” with a responsibility to ensure security for all; and true Muslims are peaceful people.

“Violence has no religion”; as a human community, we must be vigilant and careful to oppose these pernicious and shameful evils, which are not justified by any sane logic, nor by the religion of Islam.

We are sick and tired of extremists dictating the public face of Islam. The targeting of innocent persons cannot be allowed. Islam is against any forms of terrorism, whether it be carried out by an individual, a group etc. For Muslims to kill or stab a civilian unconnected with any attack on them or by them in a war environment is a crime against humanity and our Creator.

The principal law of Islam is; “don’t attack civilians,” this includes civilians of any faith, whether Jewish, Muslim or Christian. According to Islam, all people are the family of God. We offer compassion to the victims and our sincere solidarity with all Americans in the face of dangers.

In Iraq, very deadly attacks occurred recently with a suicide bomb blast killing dozens in Amiriyat-Al-Fallujah; and the Shiite pilgrims killed in similar suicide attack by Takfiri Daesh Terrorist Group, “ISIL or ISIS”.

On Thursday Nov. 17, 2016.

A suspected “Takfiri Daesh Terrorist” suicide bomber detonated explosives at a wedding in Amiriyat-Al-Fallujah, killing at least 40 people with more than 60 wounded after a suicide car bomb attack targeted a police officer’s wedding in Amiriyat-Al-Fallujah in Iraq.

Another suicide attack occurred on November 24, 2016 in the same Iraq.

A suicide truck bomb killed about 100 people, most of them Iranian Shia Muslim pilgrims on their way home to Iran, who were killed on Thursday when an Islamic state suicide bomber detonated a truck filled with explosives at a petrol station in the city of Hilla 100Km (62 miles) South of Baghdad.

The pilgrims were en route back to Iran from the Iraqi Shiite holy city of Kerbala, where they had commemorated “Arbaeen” the 40th day of mourning for the killing of Imam Hussain, (PBUH) a grandson of the prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in the 7th Century AD, according to the “Shia” doctrine.

“Shia rituals” is a frequent target of militants of the “Takfiri Daesh Terrorist Group,” “Islamic State” who consider ‘Shias” as apostates who deserve to die.

We the Muslims against terror have consistently condemned terrorism and extremism in all forms and under all circumstances, and we reiterated this unequivocal position. Islam strictly condemns religions extremism and the use of violence against innocent lives.

“There is no justification in Islam for extremism or terrorism”. Targeting civilian’s life and property through suicide bombing or any other methods of attacks is “haram” (sin) – prohibited in Islam – and those who commit these barbaric acts are criminals not “martyrs”.

Ibn Kathir said, “If the Khawarij ever gained power, they would corrupt the entire earth, Iraq, and Syria. They would not leave alone a boy or a girl or a man or a woman, for in their view the people have become so corrupt that they cannot be reformed except by mass killing.” Source: al-Bidāyah wal-Nihāyah 10/584

This is what Daesh and their sponsors is. This is why we must all come together and wage Jihad againstthem and other such evil takfiri groups and their sponsors.

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There will be division and sectarianism in my nation and a people(the Kharijites) will come with beautiful words and evil deeds. They will recite the Quran but it will not pass beyond their throats. They will leave the religion as an arrow leaves its target and they will not return to it as the arrow does not return to its bow. *They are the worst of the creation. Blessed are those who fight them and are killed by them.* They call to the Book of Allah but they have nothing to do with it. Whoever fights them is better to Allah than them.” Source: Sunan Abī Dāwūd 4765, Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani

Attacks which deliberately target civilians at a wedding in Amiriyat-Al-Fallujah, are clear violations of fundamental human rights and international humanitarian law.

As a Muslim, and as a human being, we are filled with horror of images of men, women and children torn to shreds by the madness of people who turn themselves into incendiary devices. And we are filled with outrage and fury at the diabolic forces that seek to present this monstrous, murderous, terrorist activity as sanctioned by our faith (Islam).

The evil suicide bombing must be defeated by Muslims Against Terror and other Muslim brothers in faith; as it violates every tenet of Islam.

It is not permissible (in Islam) for a person to commit a crime even against him or herself, thus taking the life that God bestowed upon one is forbidden. In the same vein, no person can take the life of another, nobody can end his or her life i.e. suicide is not permitted. Islam categorically forbids suicide.

The holy Quran prohibits suicide (Nisa 4:29) and in many hadiths, the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) declared that suicide is unlawful in Islam.

The Holy Quran say, it in very clear without any ambiguity; “Do not kill yourselves, for truly God is merciful. And if any do that in rancor and injustice, soon shall we cast them in the fire (Surah 4:29-30).

God says explicitly in the Quran, and do not throw yourself in destruction. (Quran 2:195).

Bukhari volume 8, book 73 number 73 narrated thabit bin Ad-Dahhak. And if somebody commits suicide with anything in this world, he will be tortured with that very thing on the day of resurrection.

It is time for Muslims and people of all faiths to stand together in love, and justice and end this horrific scourge of terrorism and suicide bombing in humanity.

We the Muslims Against Terror remain steadfast in our partnership with Iraqi people and government of America and this attack only serves to strengthen our resolve in defeating the “Takfiri Daesh TerroristGroup” i.e. “ISIL OR ISIS” in Iraq, America, Libya, Nigeria and everywhere else it rears its ugly head.

We extend our deepest condolence to the families, and friends of the victims of these terror attacks and our sympathy with people and government of America, Iraq etc. We pray for the recovery and the healing of all those injured in the attacks.

We stand with victims in solidarity during these difficult times.

We pray for Peace, Love, Freedom and Security to return to Middle-East, Asia, North Eastern Nigeria, America and Africa, to the rest of all Muslim Ummah and the world this year in name of Allah (SWT) our Lord we pray (Ameen). May Allah (God) guide them and protect them (Ameen).
