In 2023, Trevor Noah will serve as the Grammys’ third host.
Trevor Noah, a comedian and TV personality from South Africa, has been chosen to preside over the 2023 Grammy Awards.
He will be presenting the highest prize in music for the third time. He previously presided over the 2021 and 2022 Grammys.
He told Billboard, which broke the story first, “I don’t think it’s customary to host it once, so I don’t have a great frame of reference for this.” “It’s exciting. I consider it to be a cheat because I like practically everyone who is there.
This comes after the 38-year-old South African native quit his job as host of The Daily Show after seven years.
The 2023 Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on CBS on February 5 from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
To come up with material for his hosting duties, Noah will work once more with some of his Daily Show writers.
Recently, Trevor confirmed to the Hollywood Reporter that they will still be working together.
He told the site, “Some of us work on the Grammys together, and some of us work on other shows that I’m producing.”
It almost reminds me of that soccer moment. A soccer player will first play for their club before moving on to the national team, and there will eventually come a time when they will retire from the national team.
They would declare, “I’m not going to play for my country anymore, but I’ll still play for my club.”
“And it’s always disappointing because they won’t be on the national team, but they’re still playing and playing with a lot of the players they know,” said the speaker.
