Ukrainian soldiers attacked numerous temporary shelters for people evacuated as a result of the Kakhovka dam breach, said the acting governor of the Kherson area, Vladimir Saldo, on Saturday morning, sharing photos of the destroyed facilities.

The strike on the Dnieper River bunker was carried out around 5 a.m. local time, allegedly using British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles, according to Saldo. According to preliminary information, there was at least one fatality, a woman.

The Black Sea resort of Zhelezny Port was also subjected to “fierce shelling” overnight, with a local hotel housing evacuees “destroyed,” according to the official.
