If the next wave of appointments are from the North for these parastatal positions, as long as they do their job justly and do not use their positions in any way to extract revenge tribally, then there should not be an issue. Likewise if the appointments were of Southerners. When positions are abused and used to pursue tribal agendas, that is when we have a big problem. It will also tell us that we have leaders that are incapable of bringing Nigeria into the 21st century. If we are to go into the 21st century, this sort of thing must be checked at the door.
