We received a report earlier today from Manzo Hassan Polling Unit in Herwa Gana, Gombe (the state Governor’s polling unit) that the state Governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo sent policemen in three trucks to disrupt counting of votes and snatch away the ballot boxes to cover the heavy defeat suffered by PDP. The policemen did exactly that after throwing massive canisters of teargas on the resisting electorates who insisted on protecting their votes.
We advise Nigerians to pay attention to events in Gombe state while staying safe from Boko Haram that has also been unleashed on the good people of the state in some areas.
