He did. As I speak to you, I don’t know where my original certificate is because we gave the original to the Military Board. They took it from us when we applied to join the Army. You give the original copy of credential to the board. They take it and keep it in your file, that’s what happened. How many years ago? 50 years. And Nigeria with our (poor) record-keeping and filing things into an archive -if we have an archive at all; an archive inhabited by rats and cockroaches. I think it’s an insult. I take it as a personal insult.

I see a situation soon where so many of these so-called military generals will wish they are no longer around. The reason is simple, all their rot, loot and structures will be packing up before their very eyes and they cannot help it. Imagine GMB referring to bokoharam as ‘ so called bokoram’. Common! What does that tell you? These guys are subversive elements not insurgents, they wish to take power from the Nigerian state and give to GMB. He claimed on aljazeera network that the govt has not done enough to deal with the matter and yet refers to them as ‘our brothers in the north’, what an irony? Is this the change people are talking about? A man who speaks from both sides of the same mouth? Whose real intention are shrouded in mystery and unknown to his closest associate? I feel sorry for all those who think and are deluded that this is the change Nigeria needs, no way.
