VP Namadi Sambo Tells INEC his certificates were burnt in Fire - NewsRescue.com

This is an interesting one. While filing his document with INEC ahead of the 2015 general elections, Vice President Namadi Sambo has told the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, that his Bachelors and Masters degrees certificates in Architecture from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria has been consumed by fire.

So this fire,that burnt Namadi Sambo’s certificates,was it before the last elections or after? Because Sambo must have shown INEC his qualifications then, right? And if he did ,he doesn’t need to show them again,cos it should be in their records.

The second option,doesn’t the University have records of those who passed out and qualified? Is Sambo satying as the Vice President of Nigeria,he can’t be bothered to go to his old University to get a duplicate?

Can you imagine going to apply for a job at one of the top companies in Nigeria,and on getting there,telling them a fire consumed your certificates? You will be met by a dirty slap! Yet for the highest job in the country,this is ok?

The way corruption and impunity rules Nigeria is so scary.I don’t think there is a land on this planet that is as corrupt and unlawful as NIGERIA.Its a shame and it makes her heart weep.

Vice President Sambo however attached two letters from the University to validate his declaration. The first one reads thus;

“To Whom it may Concern: Mohammed Namadi Sambo,” read, “I certify that the above-named person having completed an approved course of study and passed the prescribed examinations was awarded the Bachelor of Science (Architecture) with Second Class Honours (Lower Division) in 1976 by the Senate of this University. His original certificate got burnt. Please treat his case in view of this certification. Thank you.”

While the second one says;

“I certify that the above-named person having completed an approved course of study and passed the prescribed examinations was awarded the Master of Science (Architecture) on May 25, 1978 by the Senate of this University. His original certificate got burnt. Please treat his case in view of this certification. Thank you.”
