Following the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC chairman’s refusal to postpone the February general elections as desperately desired by the embattled ruling PDP party, the chairman is said to be undergoing serious harassment from the PDP party and presidency.

NewsRescue reliably gathered that while the president of Nigeria is tired and ready to accept defeat, and has commenced negotiating his immunity, it is others around him, most critically the very corrupt oil Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke that are dangerously pushing, bribing and forcing all desperate means including an INEC election date shift hopefully till Jega’s term was over. Lethal weapons we gather have been used to threaten INEC to change the date.

A recent press release showed the INEC chairman buckling under the pressure and considering caving in to help the desperate PDP ruling party. A postponement will be in favor the the PDP ruling party which trends currently at less than 27% favorability to win.

NewsRescue broke the news, that immediately the council meeting yesterday concluded in line with the chairman’s position of readiness for the presidential elections as scheduled, a group of radicals including known MEND terror group patrons released a statement calling for the INEC chairman’s arrest.

It is opined that the election rigging infrastructure is not yet in place and this is why the election postponement is being sought in addition to dethroning astute INEC chairman, Jega who is being pushed under threat of death to sign his own resignation.

The elections are slated to hold on February 14th and 28th.
