Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) leader, Gani Adams, today led a group he described as the “Coalition for Concerned Nigerians” to protest against Prof. Attahiru Jega, the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of Nigeria. The protest reportedly sponsored by President Goodluck Jonathan paralyzed parts of Lagos earlier in the day. During this interview with the press beside Teslim Balogun stadium in Lagos, Mr. Adams explained why he wanted Jega removed on March 24th 2015.He also disclosed that the OPC had been awarded a “Pipeline Protection” contract that would see him employ 15,000 Yoruba youths. –SR
