Youths Group under the aegis of Nasarawa State Youth Network (NASTYNET), has commended Senator Suleiman Adokwe, Chairman Senate Committee on Services, for facilitating the citing of the Federal University in Lafia and successful completion of Lafia-Awe Federal Highway.
In a statement issued on Monday in Lafia by its National President, Ibrahim Kabiru Dallah said the siting of the Federal University in Lafia to train the future generation of leaders is the height of Senator Adokwe’s productive representative of the youths and students of Nasarawa South Senatorial District.
The statement said: “After proper consultation from the power that be in Nasarawa State to know the achievements of each Senator representing Nasarawa State in the National Assembly, we have come to realize that through Senator Adokwe, we now have Federal University Lafia, successful completion of Lafia-Awe Federal Highway, constructions of primary and secondary schools , scholarship for students, youths and women empowerment, and the massive employment of Nasarawa South people in federal parastatals.
“We recall with nostalgia the yearly payments of Hajj to Muslim Ummah and Jerusalem to the Christian faithful”
The Youths group commended Adokwe for his unwavering commitment to the development of Nasarawa South Senatorial District through education and infrastructural development.
Dallah, pointed out that Youths and Students will continue to vote Adokwe as long as he is alive to contest for any position, saying that the few who oppose him in the political arena of Nasarawa State will continue to be defeated at the polls.
“We are therefore not surprised that Adokwe is hated by few people for working hard for the progress of Nasarawa South Senatorial District.
Despite the hatred for Senator Adokwe, that has not deterred him from working hard for the youths and students constituency where he belongs”, said Dallah.
He continues: “As progressive youths group, we are not unaware of the facts that we must acknowledged the unending support of Senator Adokwe for relief materials to both Alago’s, Eggon’s and Fulani’s whenever there is crisis in the Senatorial District. This is indeed, a sign of a leader that cares about the people he’s representing and the attainment of a final peace.
“We want to use this medium to advice Senator Adokwe to imbibe the culture of using the media at all time for the people to appreciate his good works in the National Assembly. Consequently, we have consulted with our friends in the media as they are ready to start advertising the good works of Senator Adokwe at affordable price.
“On a Final note, we want to sincerely appreciate the pilot of the Transformation movement in the Senate, David Mark, the Senate President for setting the pace while our indefatigable, amiable, palatable, reliable, friendly, dynamic and unbeatable Senator Suleiman Adokwe is following”.
