Nigeria’s Chief of Army, Kenneth Minimah
We have received information that two high ranking Nigerian army Generals (names withheld) have submitted their resignation following an argument with the Chief of the army, Kenneth Minimah.
According to our sources, the Generals had told the Chief of the Army that whoever won the 2015 presidential elections must be handed the office; however the Nigerian Chief of army had told them that this will not be so as the army was working for the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Following this, the two army generals were said to have tendered their immediate resignation from the army.
We have been unable to obtain comment from the Nigerian army.
A recent report we broke from an aide of the president’s spokesperson, Doyin Okupe indicated a position from the embattled government to initiate a military coup rather than risk incarceration of corrupt officials and business cabal and blockage of flow of loot from the nation’s treasury if a Buhari/Osinbajo government comes into power.

U guys must be stupid 2 deride d military & attempt 2 drag them into politics at dis critical time. Is this a story or a cheap propaganda? Some of you just float blogs 3 cause commotion. Isn’t it enof dat d Army is overwhelmed and seriously battling d war against terrorism? Why drag d army boss into baseless politics & make it appear he is partisan? When r we going 2 learn 2 respect institutions & separate them from partisanship? D military’s loyalty is 2 d people of Nigeria. Not 2 Jonathan or any other political party. Political parties will come and go but d army as an institution will remain. If u succeed in rubbishing d army now and the opposition wins and takes power, do u know how long it will take 2 rebuild d damage done 2 d institution. If d two generals u claimed were bold enof 2 face d army chief and had d alleged encounter as u have reported, why hide their names? If they have resigned, then it means dey were bold 2 stand up for wat they believed and are no longer in d system. I see dis story as a calculated mischief. U pple shld leave journalism for journalists and stop feeding d public with junk information dat undermine our national security. Rubbish.
Your comment is full of shit, you shouldn’t have wasted your time writing this rubbish, you seem to be a retard!
Sentiment apart, the Army chief cannot be exonerated from whatever allegation until the election is over and the mantle of leadership is passed to the winner
The Generals who supposedly resigned should have been patriotic enough to stay in office and help resist the military’s abrogation of democracy.
